Chicane R&SMS offers comprehensive salvage and waste management services that encompass a wide range of operations.

Scrap material and waste is collected from various mining sites and transported to Chicane R&SMS Salvage Yard, where it undergoes thorough sorting and categorization into various commodities such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, cables, motors, plastics, general waste, and recovered hazardous materials.

Repairable items are removed during the sorting process. Once sorted, salvageable metals and components are processed for resale, recycling, or repurposing, while repairable items are sent to the Refurbishment and Engineering Facilities for processing.

All hazardous and toxic materials are handled in full compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The facility also monitors emissions and waste volumes to ensure sustainable operations. Detailed records, including all weighbridge tickets, are maintained to support transparency and regulatory compliance.
